Tyson doesn’t need to see the far shore. He’s at ease working through the fog of ambiguity. Asking big questions. Following business problems to whatever unlikely solutions they require. An experienced designer, illustrator and film maker, Tyson gives shape to abstract ideas so they feel urgent, relevant and grounded. His work helps audiences to take the clear next step.
When Tyson’s around, it’s easy to think bigger and bolder. To take creative risks. To offer ideas that push the conversation leaps ahead. He makes it safe to experiment and share work while it’s still rough. As a collaborator, he offers a helping hand. As a leader, he has your back.
For years, Tyson made wine with his dad. Tyson would do the lifting and mixing while his scientist father perfected processes and noted every step by hand. After his father passed away, Tyson kept the project going. On weekends, you can still find him surrounded by glass jugs, a few dozen pounds of grapes—and his dad’s notebooks. He’s riffing on old recipes, learning from past mistakes. He’s collaborating. Trusting the creative process to take him someplace powerful and new.
