Michael’s specialty is breaking through the hard science to find the human story beneath. He then arranges the shards and splinters—the facts, figures, tables, footnotes—and pieces them back together into one heck of a good read.
Over his long career, first in journalism and now in marketing, Michael’s pulled back the curtain on the key people and processes driving corporate and social responsibility. So if you need to know what percentage of companies recycle polyethylene terephthalate or what “gross net positive” means—give him a call.
When he’s not saving the planet or another writer’s syntax, Michael studies mixed martial arts. He’s in training to earn his second-degree black belt. He’s also been trying out busking—just another one of his feats of courage—playing a mean guitar out on the streets of Portland.
